Privacy Policy

Brandly is a logo design app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to make the app work.

01Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Brandly (“Brandly,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use the Brandly mobile app on iPhone and iPad (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

We designed Brandly to work without an account wherever possible. You can browse templates, generate concepts, and edit designs without creating a profile or giving us your name.

02Information we collect

We collect only what the App needs to function:

  • Content you create. Text prompts you type, designs you build, and images you import or capture for the AI tools. Your projects are stored on your device.
  • Device & diagnostic data. Device model, OS version, app version, language, anonymous identifiers, crash logs and performance metrics, used to keep the App stable.
  • Usage analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying signals such as which features are opened and how often, so we can improve the App.
  • Purchase records. Confirmation that a coin pack or subscription was purchased and its status. Payment is processed by Apple — we never receive your card number.
  • Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep the message and your address to reply.

03How we use it

We use the information above to:

  • Generate logos and run the AI tools you request.
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the App.
  • Diagnose crashes and improve performance and features.
  • Process purchases and manage your entitlements and coin balance.
  • Respond to support requests and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your prompts or uploaded images to build advertising profiles.

04AI processing & providers

Logo generation and AI tools (background removal, object erase, recolor, upscale and similar) are powered by third-party AI infrastructure. When you run one of these features, the relevant input — your prompt and/or the image you selected — is sent securely to a processing provider to compute and return your result.

  • Inputs are transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
  • Inputs are used to produce your result and are not used by us to train models.
  • We ask providers to retain inputs only as long as needed to deliver and stabilize the service.
  • Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts or images you upload.

05Photos & camera

Some tools let you import an image from your photo library or take a new one. Brandly requests photo or camera access only when you choose such a tool, and only accesses the specific image you select. We do not scan or upload your photo library in the background. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

06Sharing & disclosure

We share information only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers who run AI processing, cloud hosting, analytics and crash reporting on our behalf, under contract.
  • Apple, which processes your payments and subscriptions.
  • Legal compliance, when required by law or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the App.
  • Business transfers, if Brandly is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

07Purchases & subscriptions

Coins and the Pro subscription are sold as in-app purchases through Apple. All billing, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple under your App Store account. We receive a receipt confirming the purchase and its status, but not your payment details. See the Terms & Conditions for billing specifics.

08Data retention

Projects and designs live on your device until you delete them or remove the App. Diagnostic and analytics data is kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized. AI inputs are retained by providers only as long as needed to deliver and stabilize the service.

09Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit who can access it.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because most of your content stays on your device, you can delete it directly in the App. For other requests, email us and we will respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

11Children

Brandly is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12International transfers

Brandly is available globally, and our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
